Who we are

We are Fruitty, a brand of Arc-en-ciel S.a.s., based in France.

Our website address is:

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Contact form

If you send a message via the contact form, we ask you to give us your name, surname and e-mail address in order to manage your request. These information are stored on our e-mail inbox.

Blog comments

When visitors leave comments on the Blog section of the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

If you leave a comment on our blog you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

By default, the platform we use to run our site (WordPress) does not collect any analytics data. However, our hosting provider could collect some anonymous analytics data. We may add a WordPress plugin that provides analytics services in the future: in that case, this page will be updated and all data will be collected in an anonymous way.

How long we retain your data

If you send a message via the contact form or leave a comment on the blog, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can keep track of the conversation with us and recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

What rights you have over your data

If you sent a message through the contact form or have left comments on the blog section of the site, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Where we send your data

Visitor comments on the blog or e-mail messages sent via the contact form may be checked through an automated spam detection service. We don’t share any other data to any other company.
